Managed and funded by the PRSA Sunshine District, this membership scholarship program enables one recent graduate annually from each of Florida’s PRSSA chapters to receive two years of PRSA dues to introduce them to the networking, professional development, and leadership opportunities open to them as PRSA members. These PRSSA superstars are hand-selected by their PRSSA faculty advisers in honor of their outstanding contributions to and leadership in PRSSA.
The PRSA Sunshine District works with PRSA chapters across the state of Florida (and beyond) to secure their support of the program by way of providing waived chapter dues for each of the scholarship recipients who choose to join their chapters. Scholarship recipients also receive free early-bird student registration to SunCon, the PRSA Sunshine District’s annual conference.
The PRSA Sunshine District’s PRSSA to PRSA membership scholarship program was created in partnership in 2022 by district members Connie Crowther (PRSA Miami) and Jennifer Dunn, APR (PRSA Tampa Bay).
