TESTIMONIALS

“I have been a member of PRSA since 1994. I love this organization. The North Florida PRSA job board is the reason my husband, Mark Wright, and I relocated from Kingsport, Tennessee to Jacksonville for his job at Florida Blue in 2000.  The professional connections I have made through PRSA have helped me find every one of my jobs in Jacksonville and many of my dearest friends.”

– Cheryl Munn, MS, APR

“Being a part of PRSA Chapter and District leadership has been a truly rewarding experience, creating lifelong friendships and professional connections. I encourage communications professionals at all levels to be a part of PRSA at the local, district and national level.”

– Jeremy Katzman, M.B.A., APR

“Friendship; education; networking; leadership opportunities; local, state, and national connections; mentoring; and professional achievement – all of these are benefits of belonging to PRSA.   Without a doubt, they have been the foundation and the highlights of my professional career in public relations.  My life is richer, my career more exciting, and my friendships deeper because of the connections I have made as a 20-year member, a former national board member, and now a Fellow of PRSA.”

Geri A. Evans, APR, Fellow PRSA

“The educational support provided by PRSA National, combined with the opportunity to network and collaborate with public relations, communications and marketing practitioners at the local chapter level, as well as the state level through Sunshine District involvement, makes the decision to join PRSA an easy one. My professional career and my personal life have both been enhanced by membership and board participation in PRSA.”

I have been a PRSA leader for nearly 10 years and can count the rewards that being a part of this professional society have brought to me: new contacts and friends, fine-tuning public relations and marketing skills, and the ability to build my business skills by participating in leadership roles. I encourage all members to consider becoming a leader in your local chapter, district or the national organization not only to build your contacts and friends, but specifically to build your business skills and credibility in management, financial affairs, special events, leadership, presentation, organization, human resources, site selection and management, and so much more. Take charge of your future and become a PRSA leader to also help build your career.
